Lightning Ships of Fleet Réalta

“Roads? Where we’re going, we don’t need roads.”

― Dr. Emmett Brown – 1985 film Back to the Future written by Robert Zemeckis and Bob Gale

Actually, there will still be roads, virtual roads, courses plotted through air and space by pilots and crews enabled by cognitive prosthetic software. These crew will reside onboard their vessels intimately learning these ships the seas and lands they traverse, the people they serve.

We will reduce risk and cost while realizing a practical all-electric mobile economy, resilient enough to operate unimpeded by the worst natural disasters from hurricanes to earthquakes, and even those crises of uniquely human origin.

Ar + Tintrí,  literally “On Lightning” or Lightningborne in the Irish tongue. It expresses the primary form of energy of our proposed family of vessels, providing safe, affordable transportation for all.

Within a 3 year window Fleet Réalta will introduce a suite of small to medium capacity all-electric craft that are as at home on the sea as on dry land, able to safely fly in the worse weather imaginable, with some variants capable of sustained, high-subsonic cruise speed more efficiently and reliably than comparable jet aircraft now in service and the near future, at a considerable reduction in systemic costs.

The chief enabling technology is that of a semi-permanent network of emitter arrays SmartGrid to SmarRoad using beamed energy for our vehicles’ primary motive power as compared to the nearly exclusive world vision of reliance on batteries and an expressed hope for a discovery making high energy-density, light-weight batteries cheaply, and perhaps widely accessible for the masses, with one hopes minimal environmental impact.

No doubt such storage will someday arrive, and on that day Fleet Réalta will be best equipped to exploit its full potential, using it to further expand the mission ca[ability of our fleets which by then have had ample time in service to test and prove all other vital system components.

Scienti Corp Maritime division of Fleet Réalta✦™ has chosen AVEVA Marine division for their Integrated Engineering, Design, and Construction software suite. This lends a higher confidence in anticipating common standards with partners and vender home and abroad.
